History
Local 140 was first organized through the I.A.F.F. on November 7, 1918.
Sometime during the Depression, the Local's charter was lost and on August 5th,
1943 the I.A.F.F. re-issued the Local a charter, this time as 763. On
April 15th, 2003 we requested and later received a new charter and seal going
back to our original Local number of 140.
The past President's of Local 763/140 have been:

respect for their dedication and sacrifice in attaining a charter in the time of
need. It is displayed in our office with the charter for L763 in the main
office. We enjoy the benefits and freedoms on the job due to the
sacrifices of these UNION OFFICERS, when being in the UNION was not politically
the thing to do. Let us not forget the sacrifices of these dedicated UNION
OFFICERS.
