To assure the Nashville Fire Department and the citizens of the community a superior dedicated, compassionate image. To provide at community events distinguished representation of the National Colors of the U.S.A. To ensure that all fire department employees who have either died in the line of duty or who have died after a lifetime of serving the Nashville Fire Department, both active and retired, are honored and remembered at their funeral or memorial.
